| Gartner Hype Cycle Graph |
I'm sure you're familiar with this "hype cycle" graph.
I learned that when I got into cryptocurrency in 2017.
Yep.
That time, that bull market time.
Like many people, I felt like a genius. And then I lost a lot of money.
That painful experience taught me a lot about life in general. I may have lost a lot of money, but I'm a wiser person now.
I don't want to tell you the details, but that event changed my whole point of view about life for the better.
So when few days ago I read an article that talked about this hype cycle, it reminded me of this disillusionment in life. The article was about the current Articifial Intelligence hype, but it made me think about life in general.
I personally feel that I've been in the trough of disillusionment and am still not out of it yet. I'm still working on it. It is really difficult, and I don't know when I will get out of this phase and be in the "plateau of productivity".
But I just learned that the hype cycle graph is actually not scientifically confirmed.

The terms "disillusionment, enlightenment and expectations" are also subjective.
Which means, maybe I will never reach the plateau of productivity.
But it's okay. I'm just embracing whatever nature gives me.
Hopefully I will get out of this dark phase soon.
(Fingers crossed)
